Hey, everyone! If you thought pumpkin spice was just for fall, think again! Here at Primitive Gatherings, we’re firm believers that the idea of pumpkin spice should know no season, because, honestly – who decided cinnamon and nutmeg had an expiration date??? Not us! Pumpkin spice is a year-round mood that I never get sick of, so whether it’s 80 degrees outside or we’re in the middle of another snowstorm (which, we actually are!), we intend to keep the pumpkin party going as long as we feel like it – and you’re invited!
If you recall, back in September I did a LIVE show where I got up close and personal with one of my latest fabric lines, due to release this May. Any guesses on the name??? Ladies and gentlemen – meet Pumpkin Spice Gatherings! This beautiful autumn-themed cotton collection features 40 SKUs, plus a panel. Its colorful, fall-inspired palette includes soft creams combined with a variety of blacks, purples, tans, reds, oranges, and greens. Of course, I couldn’t go on YouTube LIVE to show off my yummy new line without the appropriate attire, and coincidentally I just so happened to have the perfect thing to wear in my closet already. Today is definitely a sweatshirt kind of day! I was hoping that the spring blizzard that is slowly spiraling its way over the state would be winding down by now, but it looks like it’s the same sloppy mess out there as it has been all day. I suppose this is why I have a big vehicle with fancy traction control and four wheel drive – right? Time to get home and finish packing for my trip down south where at least things should be a bit warmer.
