Hey Friends! Welcome back from another great weekend! As promised, I took some time over the last couple of days to put together a list of some of my favorite things that I like to order from Amazon – just in time for Amazon Prime Day!
Before we talk about what’s on my list, let me take a second to explain what Prime Day is for those of you who are wondering what the heck I’m even talking about. I’m sure you’ve heard of, and have probably used Amazon for your shopping needs at some point in the last several years. Prime Day came to life in 2015 as a way to celebrate Prime members on Amazon’s 20th birthday. The annual event features millions of deals across more than 35 product categories, as well as discounts on Amazon devices, quality entertainment, groceries, travel, and more during this exclusive shopping opportunity! Amazon Prime Day 2024 officially starts TOMORROW – Tuesday July 16th, 2024 at 12:01 a.m. PDT, and runs through July 17. I don’t know if the items on my list will be included in any of the crazy good deals they’ll be offering, but it can’t hurt to check them out either way (you can still shop on Amazon if you are not a Prime member but you will not receive the Prime discounts).
To kick things off, let’s start with a couple of clothing items that I have really been especially satisfied with. First up, we have the Alaster Queen Women’s Open Front Cardigan. I love this cardigan so much that I have it in multiple colors. For the price it is amazing! I do not wear them everyday so mine don’t get a lot of wear and tear, but they are beautiful over tank, a quilting T-shirt, or dress. They are nice to have handy even in the summer for cool nights, and when the air conditioning is on full blast!
Did you happen to notice what I was wearing while introducing my Dear Santa line at Fall Market? The Cicy Bell Women’s Casual Work Jacket comes in a variety of great colors for any occasion. It features a single front button design with a basic lapel collar, and two functional flap pockets. I do suggest you buy a size larger than your normal, as it was a bit snug through the back and shoulders for me (I consider myself to have a larger upper body).
Next on the list we have the ELESOL Women’s Casual Zip Up Fleece Hoodie. Trust me when I say that you are going to LOVE this long zipper hoodie as much as I do! Not only is it stylish and versatile, its thermal knitted fleece keeps you super cozy. Great for snuggling on the couch at home but still classy enough to wear out, you can’t go wrong with this one. Simply dress it up with some jewelry and a tank, and voila!
Switching gears over to health and beauty, I have a few products I swear by that I’d like to share with you. Over the years I have learned that in order to keep myself in line when it comes to taking my vitamins every day and on time, having them scheduled for delivery through a subscription membership is a must. I particularly love taking my gummy vitamins because they are super easy to swallow and taste SO good – almost like candy, and not like “medicine” at all! I also take a few by capsule and guess what… They’re definitely not as good and I end up missing half the days I’m supposed to take them!!!
What’s your vitamin regiment? I take Vitafusion Women’s Multivitamin daily for overall health, along with a prebiotic/probiotic, and daily dose of fiber to help keep things regular. After all – no one wants to be full of toxic “crap!”
Do your hands ever get sore from too much stitching (is there even such a thing???)? Mine sure do! When that happens I reach straight for Voltaren! This clinically proven gel relieves arthritis pain, improves mobility, and reduces stiffness, aches, and pains! An Alternative to pills, Voltaren is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory gel that combines the benefits of an arthritis cream and gel for management of your arthritis pain (please check with your doctor to make sure you can use this product with any other medication). Voltaren is paraben, dye-free, non-greasy and has a nice clean scent. I love it!
As long as we’re on the subject of taking care of ourselves, let’s talk grooming! This might be a bit on the personal side, but I’m not scared… In fact I’m beyond excited to share the fact that I have finally found a grooming trimmer that I don’t have to feel like I am performing delicate surgery with! The Meridian Body Trimmer features a ceramic blade and guard system that trims just above the skin, leaving a smooth finish without any bumps, irritation, or razor burn. It’s like magic! Not to mention, you will be finished in less than half the time of your traditional razor. Plus, you won’t be able to cut yourself even if you try!!! I love this shaver for legs, arms, and privates… Yes, I said it! I’ve never been “bitten” by this one, I promise. Best of all, you can use it in the shower!
When’s the last time you treated yourself to a nice hot bath? I used to spend big bucks

With over 1,000 recipes including photos for each one, the book covers both traditional dishes and new favorites. The recipes even have flavor variations, and alternative options to make them healthier. This hard-covered book makes a great gift, especially for a wedding because as we all know, a well fed man is a happy man!
Are you someone who loves taking pictures, but then ends up never printing them? Ditto! That’s why I’m having so much fun with the HP Sprocket Instant Smartphone Wireless Photo Printer. I’ve gotta say, this little portable photo printer is the bomb! Now that I’ve been journaling on a regular basis, I’ve been having a total blast using it for documenting my life – and it’s SO EASY!!! It uses ZINK ZERO INK Technology to print photos on demand! Its glossy, sticky-back photo paper has colors embedded directly into it for amazing resistance to water, smudges, and tears. I really love it! My journals are so much more interesting because of these little photos.

When it comes to writing in my journal I’ll admit, I can be kind of a pencil snob! I use all sorts of writing utensils but when it comes to pencils I definitely have my favorites. Blackwing Matte Pencils are perfect for writers, musicians, and… quilt designers! Last but not least on my list for today is one thing that is a total must in my life to keep me on track – a large scale calendar. Anyone who knows what it’s like to work with me will tell you that the calendar is an essential item in both my studio and personal life. Without the many calendars I have going at any given time, I’m not quite sure how I’d keep everything straight! From pocket sized – to ginormous, calendars are king! In fact, if you’ve ever been to my studio you know that I have no less than three large-scale calendars up as we speak, mapping out everything from my LIVE schedule to CommentSold, to the goings on at The Gathering. One in particular that I really like is this 48″ x 74″ Extra Large Wall Calendar by Lushleaf Designs.
