Hey everyone! I hope your Memorial Day weekend is off to a great start! I promised myself that I would try to relax a little today and not work too much, so despite the rain it’s been a pretty beautiful day. As always, I do have a few loose ends to tie up before the weekend goes into full swing, but then I plan to have as much fun as possible between now and Tuesday.
Obviously, today is a big day for more than one reason. Not only is it the kickoff to summer for a lot of people, but it’s also the last block release day in my year-long quilt-along, Twilight Stars. I want to thank each and every one of you that participated because as I always say, what’s the point of a quilt-along if nobody’s quilting along??? YOU make it fun! So without further ado the last and final block release in the Twilight Stars series are… Numbers 33 and 35!!!
It’s kind of sad that this will be one of the last times I’ll get to announce a weekly prize winner for this quilt-along, but on the bright side, now I get to choose a winner for the grand prize! If you haven’t heard, Heidi has been collecting the names of the charm pack prize winners each week, which will now go into a drawing for the winner’s choice of one of two prizes. The lucky winner will receive a complimentary quilting service by our top notch Primitive Gatherings quilting crew OR a gift card for the Primitive Gatherings retail store! Our 49th and second to last charm pack winners are… Robert N Lora Gearhart! Nice work finishing up right on schedule!
For those of you looking for finishing options, they’re coming soon! I just need to button up a few things before the final release. Watch for them next week on Friday in place of our usual Twilight Stars block release!
