The excitement is building as we approach the final two block releases in the Twilight Stars Quilt-Along! It’s a beautiful day here in my area of WI, and Friday on top of that. I see no reason whatsoever to delay today’s block release one minute longer than I need to because, well – I’ll be honest. What I CAN see is the sunshine beckoning me from outside my studio window and it’s pretty hard to ignore. It’s been so long since the weather’s been truly NICE – I think you get where this is going… So yeah. Let’s do this and get on with the weekend!!!
Are you on track to finish on schedule? If you said yes, as the title suggests, after you finish today’s assignment you will have 98 completed blocks with only two left to go! In second to last place of the remaining block releases, for week #49 we have block numbers 41 and 45!
After today, I only have two prizes left to give out before it’s time to choose the grand prize winner – how exciting! Have you won a prize yet? If not, keep trying. It’s not over until it’s over!!! This week, a 5″ charm pack and some other goodies will be on the way to their forever home with Patricia K Alfonso for her contribution to the quilt-along photo collection during week #48. Nice work Patricia – you must know how we love our green and yellow in WI!
Since we’re on the topic of prizes, I have to apologize. As you know, I’ve been super busy and traveling a lot over the last couple of weeks. Because of that it’s been difficult to find enough time in one sitting to read and answer comments, plus choose prize winners in the middle of all the chaos. But that’s ok! Now that I’ve had a chance to get caught up in the comment department I decided that we should do double winners today to make up for it! Have a great weekend and try to stay out of trouble! I think I’m feeling a bike ride this evening and then who knows what for the next couple of days. Kayak? Antiquing? Supper Club? The weather is supposed to be sunny and in the mid to upper 80’s. That’s just about the way I like it so I want to take advantage and get some sun while it lasts. It could be even hotter in my opinion, which I would like even more, but it is only May so I’ll take it. Anyway, get outdoors and get some fresh air if you can this weekend. Maybe stitch outside???
