Hey everyone! I hope you all are having a fabulous and long Independence Day weekend. After traveling to TX for Bernina University last week, I am certainly glad to be back on home turf spending the 4th of July with my doting husband and family. Mother Nature has kept the weather man’s promise of it being hot and sunny so far with temps hovering around 90, but I hear that rain will bring in cooler temperatures over the next couple of days. Even though I do love the intense summer sun, it will be a nice break from the heat if even just for a day or two.
That being said, I have zero intention of wasting the last good, hot, and sunny day of the holiday weekend sitting at my desk inside working, so I suppose I better cut to the chase already. I just wanted to pop on quick and remind you all that in observance of Independence Day, both Primitive Gatherings and The Gathering will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday July 4th, 2023. This includes the customer service department, so if you call the shop during this time you will not get an answer. If you have a question or concern please call the shop today before 5:00 p.m. CST tonight or again after 10:00 a.m. when we reopen for business on Wednesday. Or if you prefer, you can also email us at store@primitivegatherings.us and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
As I mentioned, I’ll be back in the studio this Wednesday where we’ll be spending some time getting ready for our next CommentSold broadcast, which will be this Thursday, July 6th directly following my LIVE show on YouTube, STITCH with Lisa starting at 1:00 p.m. (CommentSold usually starts around 2:15 p.m. give or take a few). Join me to hear all about my trip to TX including what’s new and exciting at Bernina, and our “Rookie of the Year” nomination. Then, during CommentSold Jess and I will be discussing all things wool appliqué (one of my faves!), so if you’re a fan or have always wanted to give it a try, this one’s for you!
Well stitchers, I can feel my tan fading as we speak so it’s time to hang it up and get back to celebrating before the clouds start rolling in! I want to wish you all a very happy, SAFE, and relaxing Fourth of July, and to say thanks for helping to make the first half of 2023 a huge success here at Primitive Gatherings. My staff and I are a crew of some seriously dedicated and hard working people, but the bottom line is we couldn’t accomplish what we do without all of you – so thanks again!
