Hey everyone, welcome back! You might have read my post last week discussing a few of my favorite fall-themed projects that I think are great holiday décor options for Halloween and early fall. Special thanks to all of you who read it and took the time to send feedback, I loved reading your comments! Many of you asked for a second round of autumn décor projects that were geared more toward late fall and Thanksgiving rather than Halloween, so I thought I’d do a “round II” post to cover some of those. Let me show you what I’ve got!

One of the best things about the holidays is all the fun ways you can decorate your home accordingly. Of course, my goal is always to make changing up the theme in your house as painless as possible, and without a lot of fuss. That’s why I love simple and easy projects that are just as quick to put up as they are to take down! For instance – if I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again! Pillows are about as simple as it gets when it comes to decorating. Plus, you have the choice of making just one or doing several for a set! One of the most popular autumn-based pillows in the shop right now has to be my Live a Thankful Life pillow. Decorated with a beautiful fall colored wool appliqué floral design, you’re sure to impress anyone who sets eyes on it.At 20″ x 20″ this pillow is a nice size to pair with other color coordinating throw pillows on your loveseat or couch. Live a Thankful Lifeare definitely words to live by in today’s crazy world, reminding us to give thanks for even the small things! After all, isn’t that what the spirit of Thanksgiving is all about??? Click the button above to add Live a Thankful Life to your autumn pillow arsenal before the snow flies!

Next up we have my Gather Together Pillow.” This is a great project if you’re short on time. It’s a little bit longer of a pillow than Live a Thankful Life,” measuring at 16″ x 28″. As you can see, this festive pillow also features wool appliqué, but with much less intricate requirements than Live a Thankful Life.”Gather Together Pillowwill look great paired with your other fall-themed pillows, or just as fantastic simply standing alone. You could even do several color versions to create your own collection! With simple and clear instructions, this project will go together easily without a lot of time commitment. Make one or a dozen – you can’t go wrong with Gather Together Pillow!

If you’re a fan of pillow sets, check out A Change in Seasons!” Keep the fun going all year-round with this interchangeable seasonal home décor hack. Four patterns in one, A Change in Seasonshas a player in the game for all four seasons of the year, appearing in blue for winer, mustard for spring, green for summer, and brown for fall – each with a unique seasonal appliqué embellishment.

With a finished size of 9″ x 18″ you could display these petite little pillows on a couch or love seat, but also just as easily as table or corner hutch décor. Personally I think they would look adorable paired with a seasonal quilt on a rustic porch swing. The possibilities go on and on! They’re small enough to make a set for yourself and another for a friend in a short amount of time. Ready to order? Grab yours by clicking the link!

Now, let’s talk table mats. Staying on the fast and easy end of the spectrum, next up is Pumpkin Trio Table Mat.” Have three times the fun decorating your home for autumn this year, and do it in a third of the time! Pumpkin Trio Table Matwas originally patterned in our book Autumn Gatherings, which is no longer available.

Pumpkin Trio Table Mat is a quick little mat that will be easy to make in just a day or two. It’s not overly large with a finished size of 8″ x 18″, making it easy to utilize in any room of the house. Whether you display it in the center of your dining room table or on the mantle above the fireplace, this pretty little mat will fit right in wherever you decide to put it.

A tiny bit more complicated but similar in style, we have Give Thanks Table Runner.” Featuring a proud Tom Turkey and his harvest stash, this little cutie is right up the Thanksgiving alley.

If you feel like the Give Thanks Table Runnerseems familiar, it is! This design was previously featured in one of our past wool boxes and is now finally available to the public just in time for Thanksgiving! Finished size is 8″ x 20″ – not too big, and not too small. If you’d like to invite this cheeky turkey to your Thanksgiving table, hit the link above to order!

Last but certainly not least in the table mat category we have Luna Table Mat.” This little cutie would make a great addition to any table setting! Originally from our Wool Subscription Box, this pattern and kit are now available to everyone!. Luna is 10 1/2″ x 15 1/4″ when finished. Isn’t it super adorable?

In lack of surface space in your house but still want to get into the holiday spirit? Try hanging décor! My Grateful hanging banner looks stunning hanging from a wall or pole. Make this super cool piece the first thing your guests see as then step into your home for the holidays. Finished, Gratefulmeasures at 18″ x 27″, but since it takes up zero surface area, its larger size is still pretty much non-invasive. With style not specific to either fall holiday, this beauty can hang from the beginning of September to late November. Versatility is always good!

Love the look of the hanging banner but need something a bit smaller? Check out this little gem! Coincidentally also named Grateful this smaller version measures in at 8″ x 10 1/2″. It can be displayed on a custom stand, clipboard, bulletin board, or as a small table mat. Get creative! They also make great gift bag stuffers for your fellow stitchers.

For those of you who love a series, this next one is for you! Fall Harvest Table Mat is the autumn version of a whole series of seasonal table mats that I have been working on over the last couple of years. Along with Winter, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, and Spring, the series also includes a version for fall!

A great example of versatility at its best, Fall Harvest Table Mat can be used as a wall hanging, on a clipboard or stand, or as a table mat! Finished it is 14 1/2″ x 14 1/2. Click the button above to order yours! If you would like to see the other seasonal mats included in this series click HERE!

Alright – I have one more for you. Out of everything I have shown you up to this point, this next project is what I would consider the most difficult and time consuming out of them all. Scared yet? Don’t be! Fall Crazy Table Mat is well… kind of just that. Crazy! This wonderful table mat has all the things in it that makes us love fall here in Wisconsin… It features pumpkins, fall leaves, birds, gourds, flowers, and more!

If you’re looking for a project that really hones in on your fancy stitching skills, Fall Crazy Table Matis for you! You never run out of things to look at on this one. Finished size is 22″ x 15 1/2″ – perfect to schnazz up the center of your Thanksgiving feast!

Well folks! Hopefully out of all that you are able to find something you like – or at least something to inspire you anyway. It’s hard to believe but there are only a few short weeks left until Thanksgiving – and more importantly, only a few short weeks before we need to shift our focus over to… yes, I’m about to say it – Christmas! It is a wonderful time of year, that we can’t deny. Even with the cold outside, my heart is definitely warmest during the holidays! Speaking of the holidays, don’t forget to set your reminders for STITCH with Lisa Bongean tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. CST on my YouTube channel!
