You may have noticed that I have been quieter than usual after losing my mom unexpectedly last week, so having something beautiful and creative to focus on has been especially meaningful for me lately. Now that the dust is starting to settle I’m really looking forward to hanging out at home this weekend, doing some peaceful stitching, and taking a moment to reflect—it will be nice to have some time alone to let it all sink in.
